These updates are being delivered within 探花大神\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/blog\/what-is-iam\">Identity and Access Management<\/a> (IAM), <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/platform\/cloud-device-management\">device management<\/a>, and data services. The result is adaptable IT that delivers best-of-breed solutions for every use case. The open directory platform\u2019s Zero Trust security and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) integrations establish identity as the new perimeter for your apps, data, and network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026And Android support is nearly here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"heading1\">Open Directory Platform<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>探花大神 is the central hub to automate and simplify the entire process of provisioning access for users to any IT environment. This was first made possible by adding third-party integrations (HRIS system, directories) into the platform, with many more to come. User updates and attributes are next, along with scheduled imports. The result is reduced friction among your users who may be suffering from \u201cMFA fatigue.\u201d Our North Star is to make security smarter and more accessible. Users can verify location details before approving logins.&nbsp;Adversaries have been &#8220;MFA bombing&#8221;, issuing repeated push prompts until users accept their requests. 探花大神 is adding a control to prevent that practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MFA for LDAP<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/blog\/totp-mfa\">TOTP<\/a> will be provided as an alternative to <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/blog\/push-notification-mfa-using-jumpcloud-protect\">探花大神 Protect<\/a> Push for LDAP application logins. This makes certain use cases, such as working with network hardware, simpler for 探花大神 users. Users log in by appending a one-time code to the password field during authentication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MFA is suitable for many users, but biometrics provide another option for Identity Provider (IdP) authentication to help ensure privileged access to your most valuable IT resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Device Biometrics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>探花大神 already supports <a href=\"https:\/\/support.jumpcloud.com\/support\/s\/article\/Set-Up-WebAuthN-for-your-Org-探花大神-Admins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WebAuthn<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/blog\/u2f-mfa-cloud-apps\">U2F keys<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/blog\/what-is-biometric-authentication\">biometric authentication<\/a>. Going forward, the platform will provide greater clarity about which options are available for users. Using SCIM, admins can automate the processes of account creation and deletion, as well as maintain synchronization between their core directory and web apps. OpenID (<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/blog\/saml-vs-openid\">OIDC<\/a>) support extends SSO to homegrown apps, many mobile applications, and expands overall identity federation. OAuth support makes it possible to securely import user updates from applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These updates, and managed identities, flow into 探花大神\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/blog\/the-immediate-advantages-of-attribute-based-access-control\">attribute-based access control<\/a> (ABAC), enabling the system to continuously audit entitlements for more secure access control.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Automated Group Membership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>探花大神 is introducing the ability to automate and apply membership suggestions to groups. Attributes, such as where users are located, who their supervisor is, or what team they belong to, simplifies provisioning user access to IT resources such as applications and networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Q4 extends interoperability with your Microsoft systems by exporting user groups on AAD integrations. Those features include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Remote Assist:<\/strong> A free-of-charge tool to support your users when they require help.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Android support:<\/strong> Extending 探花大神\u2019s mobile device management (MDM) to Android for compliance and application distribution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Self-service Windows deployments:<\/strong> To streamline user onboarding in support of remote work and time-savings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>macOS and Linux improvements:<\/strong> More policies, day 0 readiness for macOS Ventura, and support for additional Linux distributions, in response to community feedback.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Windows BitLocker:<\/strong> Major new investments into BitLocker deployments, with more to come.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Integrations with leading XDR solutions from CrowdStrike and Sentinel One:<\/strong> Making identity central to IT security in response to new methods of attack on cloud services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remote Assist<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Users ask for help; with Remote Assist you can now provide a session key that makes it possible to log in and fix their issues directly. 探花大神\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/platform\/remote-assistance\">Remote Assist is available<\/a> at no additional charge and provides an opt-in workflow that operates through the 探花大神 agent but works independently from it as a web app, simply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Copy and paste between devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work in multi-monitor systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn on audit logging&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A silent mode option is coming in 2023 for unattended access over the command line. Q4 expands the vision of \u201cset up once, works everywhere\u201d patch policies to browsers. IT teams benefit from automation and one-click payoffs to manage browser versions across every operating system, and prompt users to update. Chrome will be supported first, followed by Edge, and Firefox browsers. IT admins should take special consideration with this release, because unpatched Monterey systems will inadvertently update to Ventura. Apple is working on a fix to address this issue. 探花大神 works to ensure that you\u2019re not affected by upgrades when you\u2019re not ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expanded Policies and OS Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>探花大神 is deepening what\u2019s readily possible with Mac and Linux device management.
