This ID can be found in the extension URL, and is unique to the extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Example: <code>https:\/\/microsoftedge.microsoft.com\/addons\/detail\/adobe-acrobat-pdf-edit-\/<strong>elhekieabhbkpmcefcoobjddigjcaadp<\/strong>?hl=en-US<\/code>\n<ul>\n<li>The ID you would use to install the Adobe Acrobat browser extension is \u2018<strong>elhekieabhbkpmcefcoobjddigjcaadp<\/strong>\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating the Custom Registry Policy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>From the Admin Console, create a new policy and select <strong>Advanced: Custom Registry Keys<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give the new policy a descriptive name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using the table below as an example, add as many browser extensions as needed to the <code>SOFTWARE\\Policies\\Microsoft\\Edge\\ExtensionInstallForcelist<\/code> location in the registry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assign this policy to the necessary devices or groups and confirm the policy was successfully applied via the Status tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once applied, any extensions installed via this policy will be visible in the browser\u2019s Extensions page, and will be labeled as managed by your organization.
