This will prevent clients from trusting RADIUS servers without the Private Key that matches this Certificate. 探花大神 strongly recommends that you leverage a certificate authentication method for this reason. <br><br>This help article explains how to update and deploy the new 探花大神 RADIUS certificate to both Windows and Mac devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>The certificate is <strong>required<\/strong> for EAP-TTLS\/PAP authentication methods, and for some PEAP clients as well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Most clients using PEAP do not need to manually add the RADIUS certificate because it is automatically acquired during the device authentication process.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card important\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/important-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Important:<\/strong> \n<ul>\n<li>The new certificate will be installed on 探花大神\u2019s RADIUS servers on <strong>July 8, 2024 <\/strong>and is <strong>valid until July 10, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To avoid a service disruption, <strong>update your certificate before July 8, 2024<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Considerations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>If you have the current 探花大神 RADIUS certificate installed, you only need to update where it was manually installed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can install the new certificate side-by-side with the current (expired) certificate. The system will select the correct certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To avoid service disruptions, do not remove the current (expired) certificate until it is replaced on <strong>July 8, 2024.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The EAP-PEAP protocol is not affected by the RADIUS certificate expiration.&nbsp;However, users may be prompted to grant trust to the new certificate when they connect to 探花大神 managed EAP-PEAP RADIUS servers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If this is your first time configuring a client system for EAP-TTLS\/PAP, please instead refer to the following documents for guidance on initial setup:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/configure-eap-ttls-pap-on-windows-for-radius\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EAP-TTLS\/PAP Initial Configuration on Windows for 探花大神 RADIUS clients<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/configure-eap-ttls-pap-on-mac--ios-for-radius\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EAP-TTLS\/PAP Initial Configuration on Mac &amp; iOS Devices for 探花大神 RADIUS clients<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mac Setup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>Make sure you have a current RADIUS certificate installed. For more information, see <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/configure-eap-ttls-pap-on-mac--ios-for-radius\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Configure EAP-TTLS\/PAP on Mac &amp; iOS for RADIUS<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To&nbsp;update the 探花大神 RADIUS certificate in macOS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Download the attached <code>.mobileconfig<\/code>&nbsp;file and open it in a text editor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<ul>\n<li>The <code>.mobileconfig<\/code> file contains the updated certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This <code>.mobileconfig<\/code> file is not compatible with iOS\/iPadOS. Users on these devices should reconnect to the RADIUS network SSID manually, which will cause a prompt for the user to download and trust the new RADIUS certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Add the Service Set Identifier (SSID) in between the &lt;string&gt; and &lt;\/string&gt; text on Line 43.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Log in to the 探花大神 Admin Portal: <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login\">https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>Device Management<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Policy Management<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>All<\/strong> tab, click the plus icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the <strong>New Policy<\/strong> panel, select the <strong>Mac<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>MDM Custom Configuration Profile<\/strong> <strong>policy<\/strong> from the list, then click <strong>configure<\/strong>.<br><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1202\" height=\"533\" class=\"wp-image-79162\" style=\"width: 800px\" src=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/policy-mac-custom-configuration-profile.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/policy-mac-custom-configuration-profile.png 1202w, https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/policy-mac-custom-configuration-profile-300x133.png 300w, https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/policy-mac-custom-configuration-profile-1024x454.png 1024w, https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/policy-mac-custom-configuration-profile-768x341.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1202px) 100vw, 1202px\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li>(Optional) In the <strong>Policy Name<\/strong> field, enter a new name for the policy or keep the default. Policy names must be unique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Settings<\/strong> field, click <strong>upload file<\/strong> to upload the modified <code>.mobileconfig<\/code> file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(Optional) Select the <strong>Device Groups<\/strong> tab. Select one or more device groups where you want to apply this policy. For more information, see <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/configure-eap-ttls-pap-on-windows-for-radius\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EAP-TTLS\/PAP Initial Configuration on Windows for 探花大神 RADIUS clients<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To update the 探花大神 RADIUS certificate in Windows 10:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the 探花大神 Admin Portal: <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login\">https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>Device Management<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Commands<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Commands<\/strong> tab, click the plus icon to create a new command.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Details<\/strong> tab, enter a name in the <strong>Name<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Name<\/strong> field, enter a name for your command.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Type<\/strong> field, select Windows, then select the&nbsp;<strong>Windows Powershell<\/strong>&nbsp;checkbox.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Command*<\/strong> field, copy and paste the contents of the attached&nbsp;<strong><code>radius_cert_install-2024.ps1<\/code><\/strong>&nbsp;file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>The new certificate will be downloaded as part of the Powershell process.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li>In the <strong>Event <\/strong>field, select an event type. The standard default is <strong>Run Manually<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<ul>\n<li>If using Run Manually, you can click&nbsp;<strong>Run Now<\/strong>&nbsp;to immediately execute the command on the device(s), or wait to execute the command.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The results of the command execution can be viewed in the&nbsp;<strong>Commands &gt; Results<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"9\">\n<li>(Optional) Select the <strong>Device Groups<\/strong> tab. Select one or more device groups where you want to apply this policy. For device groups with multiple OS member types, the policy is applied only to the supported OS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(Optional) Select the <strong>Devices<\/strong> tab.
