The method you use depends on the device\u2019s enrollment status in Apple\u2019s Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) or Apple Business Manager (ABM):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The device\u00a0<em>is<\/em>\u00a0enrolled in Apple\u2019s Automated Device Enrollment<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>or ABM<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; If a device is shipped with an MDM enrollment profile already installed, use your current MDM provider to unenroll the device. You can then migrate the device to 探花大神 MDM. See\u00a0<a href=\"#migrate-ade\">To migrate an Automated Device Enrollment-enrolled device to 探花大神 MDM<\/a>\u00a0below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Warning:<\/strong> \n<p>For ADE devices enrolled with another MDM vendor, you must perform the following steps before they can be enrolled in 探花大神 MDM:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Unenroll these devices directly from the other MDM vendor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove the old enrollment profile from these devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The device&nbsp;<em>is not<\/em>&nbsp;enrolled in Apple\u2019s Automated Device Enrollment or ABM<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; If a device hasn\u2019t been enrolled through Automated Device Enrollment&nbsp;or ABM, you can migrate the device from another MDM vendor to 探花大神 MDM. See&nbsp;<a href=\"#migrate-non-ade\">To migrate a non-Automated Device Enrollment&nbsp;device to 探花大神 MDM<\/a>&nbsp;below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"magrate-ade\"><strong>To migrate an Automated Device Enrollment-enrolled device to 探花大神 MDM<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll need to log into your ABM or Apple School Manager (ASM) account to reassign the device, and then re-enroll it using Apple\u2019s Automated Device Enrollment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Access your current MDM provider and unenroll the device from that provider. If the current MDM provider cannot send the unenroll command and the enrollment profile is non-removable, you will need to erase the device before re-enrolling it with 探花大神.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the device was enrolled using Automated Device Enrollment&nbsp;with ABM or ASM, reassign the device from your ABM or ASM account:\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"is-lower-alpha\">\n<li>Log into your&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/business.apple.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ABM<\/a>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/school.apple.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ASM<\/a>&nbsp;account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Devices<\/strong>&nbsp;in the sidebar and select your device. You might need to search by serial number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Edit MDM Server<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select one of these options:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Assign to the following MDM<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Choose a 探花大神 MDM server for automated enrollment or zero-touch enrollment. For more instructions, see <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/configure-ade\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Configure Automated Device Enrollment<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/add-company-owned-apple-devices-to-mdm-with-device-enrollment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Add Company-Owned Apple Devices to MDM with Device Enrollment<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unassign from the current MDM<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Choose&nbsp;<strong>Unassign<\/strong>&nbsp;for device enrollment (formerly called manual or user-approved enrollment).<br><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1539\" height=\"1029\" class=\"wp-image-84586\" style=\"width: 1200px\" src=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/abm_edit_server_assignment.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/abm_edit_server_assignment.png 1539w, https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/abm_edit_server_assignment-300x201.png 300w, https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/abm_edit_server_assignment-1024x685.png 1024w, https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/abm_edit_server_assignment-768x513.png 768w, https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/abm_edit_server_assignment-1536x1027.png 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1539px) 100vw, 1539px\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Continue<\/strong>, then click&nbsp;<strong>Continue<\/strong>&nbsp;again to confirm the change. As root, use this command to enroll the device with Automated Device Enrollment: <br><kbd>#&nbsp;profiles renew -type enrollment <\/kbd><br>This command also creates a profile that the user cannot remove from the device, so that your company can continue to manage the device.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"migrate-non-ade\"><strong>To migrate a non-Automated Device Enrollment device to 探花大神 MDM<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your devices have not been enrolled through Apple\u2019s Automated Device Enrollment or ABM, you can migrate those devices from another MDM vendor to 探花大神\u2019s MDM. If you don\u2019t have the 探花大神 agent installed, installing the enrollment profile also auto-installs the agent.
