Only Admins with the&nbsp;<strong>Administrator with Billing<\/strong>&nbsp;role can delete existing Admin accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only Admins with the <strong>Administrator with Billing<\/strong> role can create new Admin accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While not required, we recommend having a minimum of two (2) Admin accounts that have the&nbsp;<strong>Administrator with Billing<\/strong>&nbsp;role assigned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When creating a new Admin, API key access will be disabled by default.\n<ul>\n<li>Only the Admin with Billing role can enable API key access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Considerations for Free Trial Accounts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You must have a password created for your free trial account in order to access your API key. 探花大神 sends an email prompting you to set up your password for your 探花大神 account after it&#8217;s created. Follow the link in the email to create your password and log in, then click your initials and\u00a0<strong>My API Key<\/strong>\u00a0to generate your API key.\n<ul>\n<li>If you don&#8217;t have an email to set up your password, you can log out of the Admin Portal, then click\u00a0<strong>reset password<\/strong>. Once your password is set, log back into the Admin Portal, then click your initials and\u00a0<strong>My API Key<\/strong>\u00a0to generate your API key.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-creating-jumpcloud-admins\">Creating 探花大神 Admins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>Only Admins with the <strong>Administrator with Billing<\/strong> role can create new admin accounts.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To create a new Admin account<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">探花大神 Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the top-right corner, click on your initials, then click <strong>Administrators<\/strong>. This takes you to the <strong>Settings<\/strong> page, <strong>Administrators<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>+Admin<\/strong> and select <strong>As New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card tip\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/tip-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Tip:<\/strong> \n<p>To create a new admin from an existing user, see <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/secure-admin-portal-logins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Secure Admin Portal Logins with Advanced MFA Options<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Enter the Admin&#8217;s <strong>First<\/strong>* and <strong>Last Name<\/strong>*. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter an <strong>Administrator Email Address<\/strong>*. This has to be unique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Permissions<\/strong>, select a&nbsp;<strong>Role<\/strong>*&nbsp;for the Admin account.&nbsp;See&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/admin-portal-roles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Admin Portal Roles<\/a> to learn more.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card notification-card important\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/important-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><p><strong>Important:<\/strong> Carefully consider who you give access to certain roles like Administrator and Administrator with Billing.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>If you want to give the Admin API access, select the checkbox next to <strong>Enable API access<\/strong>. See <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/jumpcloud-apis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">探花大神 APIs<\/a> to learn more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>create<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Admin will be sent an email to the address you specified during account creation. This email contains&nbsp;a link to set the initial password for the account. After they set their password, the new Admin can&nbsp;log in to the Admin Portal and manage 探花大神.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-editing-admin-accounts\">Editing Admin Accounts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>Only users with the&nbsp;<strong>Administrator with Billing&nbsp;<\/strong>role can modify existing Admin accounts.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To modify existing admin accounts<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">探花大神 Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the top-right corner, click your initials.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Administrators<\/strong>. This takes you to the <strong>Settings<\/strong> page, <strong>Administrators<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>details<\/strong>&nbsp;for the Admin you want to modify. The&nbsp;<strong>Edit Administrator panel&nbsp;<\/strong>appears.\n<ul>\n<li>You can edit the&nbsp;<strong>First Name<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Last Name<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;Administrator Email Address<\/strong>, or change their&nbsp;<strong>Role<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want to give the Admin API access, select the checkbox next to&nbsp;<strong>Enable API access<\/strong>. \n<ul>\n<li>If enabled and the Admin has generated a key, you&#8217;ll see the first four characters of the Admin&#8217;s API key, and the date it was created as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need to reset TOTP for your account, you can click&nbsp;<strong>Send TOTP Reset Email<\/strong>&nbsp;to initiate the reset. After confirming that you want to reset your TOTP, click&nbsp;<strong>Send<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need to reset your password, under&nbsp;<strong>Account Settings<\/strong>, click on&nbsp;<strong>Send Password Reset Email<\/strong>. After confirming that you want to reset your password, click&nbsp;<strong>Send<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>&nbsp;when you are finished making changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deleting-admin-accounts\">Deleting Admin Accounts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Warning:<\/strong> \n<p>Deleting an Admin account invalidates&nbsp;API and connect keys associated with the account. This action is immediate and irreversible.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<ul>\n<li>Only Admins with the&nbsp;<strong>Administrator with Billing<\/strong>&nbsp;role can delete existing Admin accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admins that have been created from an existing user are automatically deleted when the user is deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To delete admin accounts<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">探花大神 Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the top-right corner, click your initials.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Administrators<\/strong>.
