Next, you will log in to the Apple Push Certificate Portal and upload the CSR file. Apple validates 探花大神&#8217;s information and issues a push certificate with the public key included in the CSR. After you download the push certificate, upload it to 探花大神 to create a secure connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>An Apple ID is required to set up the Apple Push Notification service (APNs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Warning:<\/strong> \n<p>Remember the Apple ID used to sign into the Apple Push Certificates Portal when the time comes to renew your MDM certificate.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Confirm that each user\u2019s local account username matches either their 探花大神 username or the value in the&nbsp;<strong>Local User Account<\/strong>&nbsp;field in 探花大神.\n<ul>\n<li>探花大神 can only take over existing usernames if they match between OS and 探花大神. Mismatches will cause 探花大神 to provision new user accounts with the 探花大神 username and create confusion. To do so:\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Choose File<\/strong>&nbsp;and select the 探花大神 CSR file.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Open<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Upload<\/strong>. This is the same account that you used to log in to the Apple Push Certificates Portal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>Your company Apple ID must be a valid email address.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"10\">\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Download&nbsp;<\/strong>to download the new certificate (for example,&nbsp;MDM_探花大神_certificate.pem).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the 探花大神 Admin Portal, under&nbsp;<strong>Upload MDM Push Certificate<\/strong>&nbsp;on the&nbsp;<strong>Set Up Apple MDM Certificate<\/strong>&nbsp;page, click&nbsp;<strong>Browse&nbsp;<\/strong>to find the Apple Push Certificate or drag and drop the file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click<strong>&nbsp;complete setup<\/strong>. A message on the MDM home tab indicates that MDM is configured.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card tip\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/tip-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Tip:<\/strong> \n<p>Here&#8217;s a guided simulation: <a href=\"https:\/\/university.jumpcloud.com\/courses\/configuring-jumpcloud-mdm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Configuring 探花大神 MDM for Apple<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>Renewing Your MDM Certificate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to renew your MDM certificate yearly to continue to securely monitor your organization\u2019s devices. When your MDM certificate is expiring, you will see a yellow icon that reads \u201cExpiration Warning\u201d. If the certificate has expired, the icon will be red and read \u201cCertificate Expired.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the 探花大神 Admin Portal:&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login\/admin\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to&nbsp;<strong>DEVICE MANAGEMENT<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>MDM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the MDM home page, click&nbsp;<strong>renew&nbsp;<\/strong>under<strong>&nbsp;APNs Configuration for MDM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>Renew MDM Configuration<\/strong>&nbsp;page, click&nbsp;<strong>Download CSR&nbsp;<\/strong>under&nbsp;<strong>Download Your CSR<\/strong>, and then save the file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under&nbsp;<strong>Sign in to Apple Push Certificates Portal<\/strong>, click&nbsp;<strong>Go To Apple<\/strong>&nbsp;or log in to the Apple Push Certificates Portal:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/identity.apple.com\/pushcert\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/identity.apple.com\/pushcert<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Apple Push Certificates Portal, select your certificate and click&nbsp;<strong>Renew<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>To ensure that you are renewing the correct serial number, click the \u201ci\u201d icon to view the serial number you are renewing and compare it to your org\u2019s serial number in your 探花大神 Admin Portal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Choose File<\/strong>, select your CSR file (for example,&nbsp;download-mdm.csr), then click&nbsp;<strong>Open<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Upload&nbsp;<\/strong>to renew the push certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"604\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/renew-push-cert.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-80483\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/renew-push-cert.png 604w, https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/renew-push-cert-300x212.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"9\">\n<li>On the Apple Confirmation page, click&nbsp;<strong>Download&nbsp;<\/strong>and save the new certificate (for example,&nbsp;MDM_探花大神_certificate.pem), and then click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your Apple ID.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>This is the only place in the process where you can modify or add your company Apple ID.&nbsp;<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"11\">\n<li>In the 探花大神 Admin Portal, click&nbsp;<strong>Browse&nbsp;<\/strong>under&nbsp;<strong>Upload MDM Push Certificate<\/strong>&nbsp;to locate the Apple Push Certificate and click&nbsp;<strong>Open<\/strong>. You can also drag and drop the file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>complete renewal<\/strong>. A message on the MDM home tab indicates that your MDM configuration was renewed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>Removing Your MDM Configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Warning:<\/strong> \n<p>Deleting your MDM configuration permanently removes all associated certificates and configuration files. Remove your MDM configuration only if you no longer want to use MDM to manage your devices.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the 探花大神 Admin Portal:&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login\/admin\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to&nbsp;<strong>DEVICE MANAGEMENT<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>MDM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the MDM Home page, click&nbsp;<strong>Delete&nbsp;<\/strong>under&nbsp;<strong>APNs Configuration for MDM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the number of devices that you want to unenroll from MDM.
