Leverage this integration to centralize user lifecycle, user identity, and group management in 探花大神 for BrowserStack. Save time and avoid mistakes, as well as potential security risks, related to manually creating users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read this article to learn how to setup the BrowserStack integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A 探花大神 administrator account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>探花大神 SSO Package or higher or SSO add-on feature.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BrowserStack Enterprise plan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A BrowserStack user account with Owner permissions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SAML SSO configuration is required to use SCIM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a><\/a><strong>Important Considerations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>BrowserStack SCIM API is based on version 2.0 of the&nbsp;SCIM standard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need to update the SCIM token, you must&nbsp;<a href=\"#to-deactivate-the-idm-integration\">deactivate the IdM integration<\/a>, update the token, and then reactivate the integration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Groups are not supported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Attribute Considerations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A default set of attributes are managed for users. Optionally, you can enter a <strong>Description<\/strong>, adjust the User Portal Image and choose to hide or <strong>Show in User Portal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>If this is a Bookmark Application, enter your sign-in URL in the <strong>Bookmark URL<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Optionally, expand <strong>Advanced Settings<\/strong> to specify a value for the<strong> SSO IdP URL<\/strong>. You will have to delete and recreate the connector if you need to edit this field at a later time.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li>Click <strong>Save Application<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If successful, click:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Configure Application<\/strong> and go to the next section <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Close<\/strong> to configure your new application at a later time <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"configuring-the-sso-integration\"><strong>Configuring the SSO Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To configure BrowserStack<\/strong> 1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Sign in to BrowserStack with an Owner account. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to&nbsp;<strong>Account<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>&gt;<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Security&nbsp;&gt;<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Authentication<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under&nbsp;<strong>Single Sign On (SSO)<\/strong>, click&nbsp;<strong>Configure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the next screen, select&nbsp;<strong>SAML authentication<\/strong>, and click&nbsp;<strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the <strong>Select identity provider (IdP)<\/strong> screen, select <strong>SAML Connector<\/strong> and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy the values for all the following fields:\n<ul>\n<li>IdP Initiated SSO URL<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entity ID<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave this window open.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"to-configure-jumpcloud\"><strong>To configure 探花大神<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"#creating-a-new-jumpcloud-application-integration\">Create a new application<\/a>\u00a0or select it from the\u00a0<strong>Configured Application<\/strong>s list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the&nbsp;<strong>SSO<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paste the BrowserStack values into the following fields:\n<ul>\n<li>Entity ID &#8211; paste the <strong>BrowserStack Entity ID<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IdP Initiated ACS SSO URL &#8211; paste the BrowserStack <strong>IdP Initiated SSO URL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy the following fields:\n<ul>\n<li>Sign-in URL<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IdP Name<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add or change any attributes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Download the certificate<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Find&nbsp;your application in the&nbsp;<strong>Configured Applications<\/strong>&nbsp;list and click anywhere in the row to reopen its configuration window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>SSO <\/strong>tab and click <strong>IDP Certificate Valid &gt; Download certificate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card tip\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/tip-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Tip:<\/strong> \n<p>The certificate.pem will download to your local <strong>Downloads<\/strong> folder.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To configure BrowserStack 2<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>In BrowserStack, enter the following information:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sign-in URL <\/strong> &#8211; paste the 探花大神 Sign-in URL.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sign-out URL<\/strong> &#8211; enter&nbsp;<kbd>https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/userconsole\/<\/kbd>. (this returns the user to the user portal after logging out).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Public Certificate<\/strong> &#8211; copy and paste the contents of the certificate downloaded in the previous section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IdP Name<\/strong> &#8211; paste the 探花大神 IdP Name.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Next<\/strong>&nbsp;to proceed to the <strong>Advanced settings<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>SSO Settings<\/strong>, select <strong>Required <\/strong>or <strong>Optional <\/strong>depending on how you&#8217;d like your users to sign into BrowserStack.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Submit <\/strong>and then test the integration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"authorizing-user-sso-access\"><strong>Authorizing User SSO Access<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Users are implicitly denied access to applications. After you connect an application to 探花大神, you need to authorize user access to that application. You can authorize user access from the <strong>Application Configuration<\/strong> panel or from the <strong>Groups Configuration<\/strong> panel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To authorize user access from the Application Configuration panel<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">探花大神 Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>USER AUTHENTICATION &gt; SSO<\/strong> <strong>Applications<\/strong>, then select the application to which you want to authorize user access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>User Groups<\/strong> tab. If you need to create a new group of users, see <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/get-started-user-groups\">Get Started: User Groups<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the check box next to the group of users you want to give access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>save<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To learn how to authorize user access from the&nbsp;<strong>Groups Configuration<\/strong>&nbsp;panel, see&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/authorize-users-to-an-sso-application#user-groups-configuration-panel\">Authorize Users to an SSO Application<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"validating-sso-authentication-workflows\"><strong>Validating SSO user authentication workflow(s)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-idp-initiated-user-workflow\"><strong>IdP-initiated<\/strong> <strong>user workflow<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Access the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/userconsole#\/\">探花大神 User Console<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to\u00a0<strong>Applications<\/strong> and click an application tile to launch it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>探花大神 asserts the user&#8217;s identity to the SP and is authenticated without the user having to log in to the application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sp-initiated-user-workflow\"><strong>SP-initiated<\/strong> <strong>user workflow<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Go\u00a0to the SP application login &#8211; generally, there is either a special link or an adaptive username field that detects the user is authenticated through SSO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>This varies by SP.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Login redirects the user to 探花大神 where the user enters their 探花大神 credentials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the user is logged in successfully, they are redirected\u00a0back to the SP and automatically logged in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Configuring the Identity Management Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To configure BrowserStack<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Configure or ensure SSO is setup between BrowserStack and 探花大神.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sign In to BrowserStack account as Owner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to&nbsp;<strong>Settings &amp; Permissions<\/strong>&nbsp;and select the&nbsp;<strong>Security&nbsp;<\/strong>tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under&nbsp;<strong>Auto User Provisioning<\/strong>, select&nbsp;<strong>Configure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the user attributes that you want to control via IdP. Ensure that these attributes are supported by your IdP.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Confirm<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy the&nbsp;<strong>Access Key<\/strong>. You will need this in the next section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Done&nbsp;<\/strong>and then click&nbsp;<strong>Enable<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To configure 探花大神<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Create a new application&nbsp;or select it from the&nbsp;<strong>Configured Application<\/strong>s list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the&nbsp;<strong>Identity Management<\/strong>&nbsp;tab and click&nbsp;<strong>Configure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>Token Key&nbsp;<\/strong>field<strong>,&nbsp;<\/strong>paste the&nbsp;<strong>Access Key<\/strong>&nbsp;you generated\/copied&nbsp;when configuring BrowserStack.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Activate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will receive a confirmation that the Identity Management integration has been successfully verified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can now connect user groups to the application in 探花大神 to provision the members of that group in BrowserStack.
