ADE has also been a game-changer for Starbuck; previously, the company was using Jamf for mobile device management, and it took 40 minutes to enroll each machine.
鈥溙交ù笊� ADE has made deployment for machines the most effortless thing I鈥檝e ever had to do,鈥� he says. 鈥淚 set it up three years ago, iterated very slightly, and it鈥檚 something I can actually fully trust and never second-guess if it鈥檚 going to work.鈥�

Streamlining identity management
The fact that 探花大神 integrates with AWS IAM Identity Center 鈥渕akes life easier,鈥� Starbuck says. 鈥淚nstead of having to have a plethora of user groups within 探花大神 and assigning specific roles, we鈥檙e able to hone in on that management once we have all of our permission sets correct on Identity Center and we automatically know that those users will have the right roles on the first go and not have to modify it.鈥�
Sovrn uses Jira鈥檚 service desk for ticketing and has created a whole workflow for temporarily elevating permissions through AWS and a script.
鈥淎n end user will put in whatever account they鈥檙e asking for, their role, and what team they鈥檙e on, and that information going through 探花大神 APIs to find the 探花大神 ID then runs the script to say, 鈥楬ey, Amazon, add them to the Identity Center group with those permissions temporarily,鈥� Starbuck explains. 鈥淚t鈥檚 just-in-time provisioning that reduces friction. In an emergency, end users don鈥檛 have to wait for me to add them to a group.鈥�
Centralizing IT spend
